TMZ is reporting that Amber Flora, who has appeared for IMPACT Wrestling (TNA), NXT and AEW under the in-ring name Amber Nova, was arrested for a DUI and refusing to take a DUI test.
TMZ indicates jail records show that Flora was arrested by the Orlando Police Department on Friday at 5:40 pm local time. However, she was released later that morning at 10:07 am local time after posting $1,000 bail for each count. Court docket records show Flora attended a mandatory court date on Saturday. A compliance date has been set for Monday, November 2.
Flora made a name for herself in the all women’s Shine Wrestling promotion as the Shine Nova Champion. However, she didn’t win any of her matches in IMPACT Wrestling, NXT or AEW. She was with IMPACT between between 2017 and 2018, in NXT between 2018 and 2019, and in AEW between 2019 and 2021.
She still wrestles on the independent scene. Before becoming a professional wrestler Flora worked as an emergency medical technician and studied at the Technical College of the Lowcountry which is a public community college in Beaufort, South Carolina.
