During a segment on the 10/23 WWE SmackDown with CM Punk, Kevin Owens and General Manager Nick Aldis, it was revealed that CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens will take place on the November 6 episode of SmackDown. A segment aired between the two, as they traded insults. Aldis served as the interviewer.

The episode will be taped on November 2 at Barclays Center after Raw goes off the air. This will be the go-home show for Crown Jewel, which is still scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7, despite the recent security alerts and travel advisories. A Last Man Standing Match has been added to Crown Jewel. During Friday’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes challenged Randy Orton to the match and General Manager Nick Aldis made the match official.

When asked during a recent interview with Fox News about the status of Crown Jewel, TKO CEO Ari Emanuel said, “Its a daily monitoring.”
