Deadline is reporting that current WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green is starring in the new independent comedy-adventure film, “We Could Be Heroes.”
The film’s cast also includes Ron Perlman, Peter Facinelli, Mark Elias, Humberly Gonzalez, Damian Romeo, Sean Benson, Pat Roach, Jason Mewes and newcomer Serena Wang.
The report also notes filming is wrapping up soon in Ontario, Canada.
Paul Emani, who is the film’s director and one of the producers, told Deadline the film is “ultimately a story about ordinary people finding themselves in extraordinary circumstances.” He also went on to say, “there is a lot of comedy in the film, but underneath that is a story about friendship, courage and discovering that you may be capable of more than you ever imagined.”
At the time of Deadline’s report, there is no official release date for the film.
