Per a recent report from PWInsider, AAA’s El Hijo del Vikingo suffered an injury while prepping for a match on Tuesday night’s NXT.
WWE did a backstage angle during the show, with Keanu Carver attacking Vikingo using a lead pipe. Carver said he did it to prevent EK Prosper from getting his title opportunity for the AAA Latin American Championship currently held by Vikingo. The match was supposed to take place on Tuesday’s show.
PWInsider noted the angle was done so that Vikingo could be evaluated.
