Former WCW/ECW and WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio (real name Charles Scaggs), has been sentenced to six-years in prison, after pleading guilty on charges of assault – second degree as well as armed criminal action.
However, Scaggs has a chance to earn probation upon completion of a 120-day program. In the state of Missouri, a defendant can be sent to a Department of Corrections boot-camp-style program designed to deliver a “shock” to the offender.
According to PWInsider as it pertains to the program – “Upon completion of the 120 days, the Department of Corrections submits a report and recommendation to the court regarding the defendant’s conduct and progress. If successful, the court can grant probation, releasing Scaggs from prison to serve the remainder of his six-year term under supervision in the community. If unsuccessful, the judge can deny probation, which would require Scaggs to serve out the remainder of the full 6-year prison sentence.”
Scaggs was arrested back in June of 2024 following an altercation with a man at a Love’s Truck Stop Kansas City, Missouri where he was working at the time as a security guard. It had been alleged that Scaggs stabbed the man claiming self-defense. It was said that the man threatened Scaggs after he asked him not to smoke inside the establishment. However, when investigators later made contact with the victim at a local hospital, he claimed it was Scaggs who was the aggressor.

Scaggs wrestled as 2 Cold Scorpio in WCW from 1992 to 1994. He kept the name during his two year-run in ECW from 1994 to 1996. He then made the jump to the WWF, where he was given the name of Flash Funk. He wrestled in the WWF from 1996 to 1999 and returned to ECW as 2 Cold Scorpio in 1999 and then left the promotion again in 2000. He would go on to wrestle in Japan in Pro Wrestling NOAH, before returning to the WWE/F in 2006 as Flash Funk. After again departing the company, he went to the indies as 2 Cold Scorpio. It appears his last match was back on October 21, 2021, when he debuted at PCW Ultra, taking a loss to the Blood Hunter.
