PROGRESS Wrestling has announced that Malakai (Aleister) Black will be appearing ath their upcoming events on September 4-6.
The news comes after the former NXT Champion revealed a new look on social media, teasing his in-ring return after being released by WWE as part of the roster cuts following WrestleMania 42 in April.
While the independent promotion has not announced an opponent for Black, they did tease what he looks to do as he makes his return for the first time since competing as Tommy End:

Following his first WWE departure in 2021, Malakai Black signed with AEW for a run that garnered the World Trios Championship before his contract expired in February 2025.
The upcoming PROGRESS shows are part of the promotion’s Odyssey Tour, which concludes September 12-13.
