On a recent edition of her Hot Mom Sh!t podcast, Carmella spoke to co-host Laura Clery about her marriage with Corey Graves, discussing their hectic schedules among other topics.
In the midst of the conversation, the former WWE Women’s Champion confirmed her retirement from pro wrestling:
We’ve been married almost four years…. We worked together. So, we met through work and it was a very similar kind of situation, we worked together all the time and then we were home. I related a little bit to when your book and you’re saying, ‘Our dates were all about half romance, half business planning’ so we did that.
Luckily, I’m retired now, so it’s definitely a little bit different. I was a professional wrestler, so it’s I can’t wrestle anymore. I’m a mom. I have kids. So, that’s kind of like I’m retired.
Carmella’s last match for WWE was in March 2023, though she previously expressed being hopeful of a WWE return someday.
