Brock Lesnar was inducted into the University of Minnesota’s M Club Hall of Fame on October 3, joining nine other inductees in a ceremony honoring the occasion.
The former WWE Champion got his start in the world of wrestling at the university, winning the NCAA Division I heavyweight championship in 2000 and becoming a two-time NCAA All-American and Big Ten Conference Champion with an overall record of 106-5 over the course of four years.
Lesnar has stated that he is retired from pro wrestling after losing to Oba Femi at WWE SummerSlam in August.
His college roommate (and former WWE roster mate) Shelton Benjamin was among those in attendance, sharing some photos and congratulations on Instagram.
