In a recent edition of his vlog, Logan Paul provided an update with some clarity on the injury that has kept him sidelined since May.
A recurring bit has seen the former United States Champion trying to convince WWE personnel that he is already cleared to return to in-ring action, but Michael Hayes informed Paul that he is not cleared until “at least November,” saying the word came from Bruce Prichard and Paul Levesque.
Later in the video, a meeting with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas confirmed that the total timeline will be five and a half to six months out of action:
The biology of what’s happening in that elbow is not ready to be cleared. The risk outweighs the benefit. You’re in this for a long haul. You’ve got a career here we gotta think about.
Paul sustained the injury during a tag team match with Austin Theory, facing the Street Profits on the 5/23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
