The name Santos Escobar is no more, as revealed in a new video posted on social media.
The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion under bid farewell to the Escobar moniker in the form of a funeral while revealing his new name, Romeo Malverde.
The update comes as the man who competed in Mexico as El Hijo del Fantasma is set to appear at the Headlocked Comics and Masked Republic booth during San Diego Comic-Con weekend, one of his first appearances following his WWE departure stemming from the post-WrestleMania 42 roster cuts in April.
