Making his return to the independent scene following his release from WWE, Samuel Shaw has won the Relentless Heavyweight Championship.
The former WWE Tag Team Champion, who was part of the roster cuts following WrestleMania 42, defeated Jonathan Gresham for the title at the independent promotion’s Near-Fall event.
Shaw joins fellow Wyatt Sicks alum Joseph Sawyer (former Joe Gacy) in holding independent gold, as Sawyer recently won the GCW World Championship.
