Gunther picked the stipulation for his big rematch for the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes on next week’s SmackDown, at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
“The Ring General” told SmackDown General Manager he wants Sami Zayn as the guest referee for the championship match. Earlier during the show, Rhodes and Zayn got into a verbal exchange that turned physical with Zayn slapping Rhodes and then Rhodes hitting Zayn back.
Also, scheduled for next week’s SmackDown is R-Truth and Damian Priest defending the WWE Tag Team Championships against the MFT’s.
In addition, there will be a No. 1 Contender’s Match Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints and Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan will meet in a Queen of the Ring Semifinals Match.
