The ticketing page for WWE Crown Jewel, lists The Venue (ANB Arena) as now hosting the November 7 premium live event. This arena is indoors, and can seat up to 25,000 as compared to the Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD, which is an outdoor venue with over 70,000 for a seating capacity.
The Venue (ANB Arena) is holding this Saturday’s Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilli boxing match.
At the time of this writing, tickets have yet to go back on sale. When it was announced earlier this week, that Crown Jewel would be moved from Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD (King Abdullah Financial District), all tickets were refunded to their point of sale and that tickets would be re-released within a 48 hour time period, which should be today.
There have been ongoing security concerns with WWE/TKO holding Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, due to the recent attacks, specifically to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
According to a report on Thursday from Business Insurance, about 86 percent of the scheduled flights at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport were canceled between October 8 and 25 due to Houthi rebel attacks on Saudi Arabia’s airports, ports and oil facilities. It was also noted these attacks have prompted international airlines to suspend services to the Saudi capital through November and that several major airports across the kingdom also reported severe disruption.
Crown Jewel is set to air live on the ESPN Unlimited app in the United States and on Netflix internationally, beginning at 12:00 pm ET/9:00 am PT.
