Variety is reporting that former WWE Champion Dave Bautista is currently in talks for the role of Kratos in the Amazon Prime series God of War, based on the popular video game franchise.
The news of Bautista for the role comes after Ryan Hurst, who was originally cast in the role suffered a torn bicep on the set of the series this past January, which would have delayed a return to production until 2027, ultimately leading Amazon and Sony to recast the part. The report adds the plan is to have production back up and running by this fall.
