Fightful Select is report that Big Bill (W. Morrisey) is headed back to WWE. Another AEW talent appears to be headed back to WWE, with Big Bill reportedly on the verge of making his return to the company alongside a familiar face.
New details have been provided from Fightful Select, which indicates Bill’s contract with AEW is set to expire within the next week and that he has reportedly given his notice.
The expectation is Bill will return to WWE under his the name of Big Cass, which he used previously during his time there. Furthermore, Fightful Select notes currently plans are for Enzo Amore to join Bill in WWE, thus reuniting the duo. However, it was added that Amore has not officially signed a new deal with WWE as of mid-June.
Fightful Select concludes that the belief within WWE, is the company wanted to wait until Bill was officially a free agent without any contractual obligations to AEW before finalizing deals that would bring him and Amore back together in WWE.
Bill’s final appearance on AEW television was back in February on an episode of Collision, where he teamed with Bryan Keith and the Grizzled Young Veterans, as part of an 8-Man Parking Lot Brawl against Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, and The Rascalz. Bills final match on ROH TV took place back on April 6, 2026, teaming with Bryan Keith in what was a squash match win against Nick Halen and Vin Parker
Bill is married to AEW/ROH backstage interviewer Lexy Nair. The couple got married in Mexico back in 2024.
