According to New Orleans reporter Nick Underhill, the Saints waived Brock Rechsteiner, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner. The Saints waived the un-drafted wide receiver on Sunday ahead of the 6:00 pm ET deadline for NFL teams to reduce their rosters down to 53 players.

Brock played college football at Jacksonville State before going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft. He earned a contract with the Saints back on May 12 after taking part in the team’s rookie minicamp.
The NFL suspended Rechsteiner back on August 6 for the first six games of the 2026 regular season It was later confirmed by the Saints the suspension was due to violating the NFL-NFLPA performance-enhancing substances policy.
In February of 2025, Rechsteiner signed a WWE NIL deal and has said in the past that he intends to pursue career in professional wrestling once his football career is over.
Brock is the cousin of WWE Superstar Bron Breakker.
