Several media outlets are reporting that Brock Rechsteiner, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has been suspended by the NFL and will not be playing in the first six games of the upcoming season with the New Orleans Saints.
Rechsteiner was signed by the Saints this past May after a tryout. He played at Jacksonville State from 2021 to 2025.
According to Pro Football Talk, the NFL announced the suspension on the personnel notice for Thursday, but did not give a reason for the suspension. The report adds that this could mean the end of Brock’s football career.
Rechsteiner was an undrafted rookie and is eligible to participate in all preseason activities, including games, before the reduction to 53 players.
He stated in a previous interview, his cousin WWE star Bron Breakker has spoken to him about pursuing a career in pro wrestling after his football career is over.
