Son of WWE Hall of Famer wins his first match in pro wrestling debut

Garrett Bordon, son of WWE Hall of Famer Sting won his debut match against Brandon Barretta at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy Final Reckoning event, which took place on Sunday, May 17 in Leander, Texas.

The finish saw Borden hit Barretta with a Stinger Splash, then lift up Barretta and drop him with an angle like slam for the pin.

Garrett portrayed Surfer Sting at his dad’s final match, which took place at the 2024 AEW Revolution PPV. Garrett brother, Steven Borden Jr, portrayed Wolfpac Sting in that same match.

Steven currently has wrestled for DEFY, NJPW Academy and dark matches for AEW.
