WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select provided reports on the potential location for the the 2029 WWE SummerSlam PLE, Brock Lesnar’s future and an update on the Royal Rumble as a possbile two-night event.
2029 WWE SummerSlam Location
A source with direct knowledge has said the 2029 WWE SummerSlam will take place from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This is said to be part of the the agreement WWE made with the Indiana Sports Corp back in June 2024 that would bring a WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble to the Stadium.
The first event held as part of the agreement was last year’s (2025) Royal Rumble.
Brock Lesnar’s Future With WWE
High ranking officials within WWE believe Brock Lesnar will still be involved with next year’s WrestleMania 43, which takes place in Saudi Arabia. The report adds that if Lesnar does not wrestle at the PLE, one source believes he could instead headline the 2027 Hall of Fame.
Royal Rumble As A Potential Two-Night Event
WWE is seriously considering making the Royal Rumble into two event, possibly as early as next year. It was also said, that at the moment, there are no firm plans in place and most at this time within WWE are going with the assumption that the Royal Rumble will still be only one night. It was further added that WWE is keen, however, on turning it into a “a multi-night destination event.”
The 2027 WWE Royal Rumble will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
