In an interview with KHON2 News, Paul “Triple H” Levesque talked about the upcoming live events in Honolulu, Hawaii in October while addressing the company’s future plans to make the city a regular stop on the touring calendar.
It’s going to be amazing. We haven’t been there since 2019. I can tell you that every superstar in the WWE has been calling asking us to be on this card. They’re chomping at the bit to get there to Hawaii.
This is exciting for us, and this isn’t a one-time deal. We’re not just coming there now, we’re going to be coming there on a regular basis. We’re going to make sure that we have our feet back [on] the ground in Hawaii, where they always should’ve been, where our roots are. That’s why we are looking for that next generation too. We want to ensure that the Pacific Islands remain a home for us for years to come.
Prior to the house shows, Blaisdell Arena will host a two-day WWE tryout which saw a recent recruitment drive at the 2026 Hawaii Fit Expo during the summer.
On what the company is looking for in its recruits, Levesque told the station that while athleticism, desire, and drive are important, charisma is the one thing WWE really wants as they’re looking for someome who is “not your traditional next-door neighbor.”
