On a recent episode of 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff, co-host Conrad Thompson fielded a question about the status of Bruce Prichard.
Thompson, who previously hosted the podcast Something to Wrestle alongside the current WWE executive, stated:
I don’t know that Bruce has revealed it, but Bruce has been dealing with a neck injury. It turns out that Bruce is going to have to have some surgery on that rascal, and he hadn’t been having the best quality of life recently. He’s on the mend, he’s doing rehab and all that jazz, but he’s hurting for certain.
He further noted that the injury came about back in the early 1990s during an angle where Pritchard (as Brother Love) was attacked by the Ultimate Warrior.
He broke his neck, and he just found out just recently. All these years later.
Prichard, who has been back in WWE creative since 2019, previously underwent triceps surgery in 2024, and was on leave earlier this year due to back issues before returning in the summer.
