Back on July 24, WWE filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, for “Cruz Montana.”
The filing is for Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service.
It has already been speculated this will be the new in-ring name of Mike Santana, who made his surprise appearance on last Tuesday’s episode of NXT, confronting Tony D’Angelo after he successfully defended the NXT Championship against Naraku in a street fight. Neither Vic Joseph or Booker T on commentary said Santana’s name out loud.
