WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has provided the following reports on updates within WWE:
Sources within the company’s merchandising department have indicated that Bronson Reed’s name has surfaced in a way that suggests a potential return, with the expectation that he will be presented as a main event-level heel upon his return. While no timetable has been given as of this writing, Fightful notes he expected to be back “before long.”
A refresh appears to be taking place within the tag team division, with the pairing of Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiromu Takahashi set to be positioned as top challengers on the SmackDown brand and Fraxiom set to see increased television time. In addition, the pairing of Ethan Page and Rusev is expected to be more prominent on Raw, while the Creed Brothers have not been mentioned as potential challengers despite their recent return on Main Event.
Solo Sikoa’s merchandise has notably been doing better than expected, especially with the launch of a new Funko Pop. The company is working on “Pew Pew” merchandise to sell online and in arenas at upcoming events.
