WWE opened up Monday’s Raw with a graphic, paying tribute to Benjamin Satterley, who wrestled as Adrian Neville and then later just Neville in the company.
Satterley left WWE after his contract expired in 2019 and signed with AEW, wrestling as PAC.
AEW announced that this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite will be a tribute show to Satterley, who passed away at the age of 40 on Sunday. He has wrestled the night before at the AEW All Out PPV against Andrade El Idolo.
AEW head Tony Khan paid tribute to Satterley at the start of Monday’s ROH TV tapings at WCJT Studio’s in Jacksonville, Florida. Before the ten bell salute, Khan told the fans in attendance, “it was such a pleasure to spend time with Ben outside of wrestling as well, whether it was just having dinner or watching the football match or traveling. Ben is a very first-class person, and he left behind a lovely wife and a lot of great friends and a legacy that will last forever.”
