Deadline is reporting WWE’s Drew McIntyre has been cast in the new movie, The Last Druid featuring Russell Crowe.
Additional cast includes Russell Crowe’s son Tennyson Crowe, Stacy Clausen and veteran Spanish actor Pablo Derqui.
The movie is currently in production in Spain and is scheduled for a release on September 24, 2026, per IMBD.com. The website’s description of the film sees an Emperor discover a secluded Druid stronghold, forcing a peaceful Celtic elder to take up arms and protect his family and people from annihilation.
McIntyre also has a role in Amazon MGM’s Highlaner reboot starring Henry Cavill.
