WWE has announced that the finals of the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments will take place during the first hour of Night of Champions, simulcast on ESPN.
It is unknown as of this writing whether the first match of the hour will see Oba Femi face Jey Uso to crown the King of the Ring or IYO SKY takes on reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan for the right to be named Queen of the Ring.
A world title shot is on the line in each tournament final, with Morgan making it clear that a Queen of the Ring victory would put the WWE Women’s Championship held by Rhea Ripley in her sights, whereas IYO SKY would have the right to challenge Morgan or Ripley.
On the flip side, Jey Uso has made his claim that becoming King of the Ring would see him face off against Cody Rhodes, who defends the Undisputed WWE Championship at the event against Gunther and Sami Zayn, whereas Oba Femi stated he would consider going after Roman Reigns and the World Heavyweight Champion should “destiny” favor him.

WWE Night of Champions emanates from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, June 27, with a start time of 1:00 p.m. Eastern, with the show airing in its entirety on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
