WWE’s Brie Bella has spoken against AI data centers.

Brie, during her most recent most “Hi, My Name Is Brie” YouTube episode, the WWE Hall of Famer spoke out in opposition of AI data centers during her hike at the Radnor Lake State Natural Area.

Brie notes in her video large AI data centers can consume up to 5 million gallons of fresh water per day, adding that only 0.5 percent of the earth’s water is accessible and safe for human consumption. She also shows a layout where there is proposal to build an AI data center near the Nashville Zoo. She urged those in the Nashville area to sign the petition to block the data center from being built, which already has nearly 500,000 signatures.

“One billion dollars being cut from the National Park Fund. Public lands being sold for AI data centers. Millions of gallons of freshwater consumed every single day by large scale AI. We can live without AI. We cannot live without these parks...What people are worried about, and they have every right to worry is what will happen to the animals, their habitats, to their way of life, to their mental health, when 24/7, they will be hearing the humming, the buzzing, the artificial light pollution. They are literally 50 yards away. So please, if you see the petition, sign it for the Nashville Zoo. Speak up, use your voice, and let’s protect these animals from the damage that is about to come.”

Brie posted the following description with her YouTube video.

After a Monday Night Raw in Knoxville, I drove to Nashville and found myself on a solo hike at Radnor Lake State Natural Area and it was exactly what my soul needed.

But I couldn’t stop thinking about our national parks being under threat. There’s a push to cut $1 billion from the National Park Fund, which means fewer park rangers, less maintenance, and less protection for these wild, irreplaceable places. And on top of that, our public lands are being sold to build AI data centers.

So I decided to use this hike to talk about it; the numbers around what large-scale AI data centers is actually doing to our environment. Millions of gallons of freshwater consumed per day, power usage equivalent to 100,000 homes, and rising electricity bills that all Americans are already feeling.

We can live without AI. We cannot live without fresh water. We cannot live without these parks.

I hope this episode inspires you to look into how you can help: sign petitions, use your voice, support funding for your local and national parks. These places belong to all of us.
