The following is per Fightful Select.

Sami Zayn’s Undisputed WWE Championship victory has reportedly been met with plenty of support from talent within WWE and across the wrestling industry. There has been concern that Zayn could drop the title to Brock Lesnar before SummerSlam, but that does not appear to be the current plan.

Before sustaining her knee injury last month, WWE had been discussing internally that Rhea Ripley was going to defend the WWE Women’s Title against either Alexa Bliss or Jacy Jayne at SummerSlam. However, one of those matches looked to have been planned for Night of Champions, had Ripley not gotten injured.

Although Tamina continues to be listed on WWE’s official roster page, it is said that she almost never present backstage at TV events and that she has not been part of creative discussion or factored into any of WWE plan for years.

There has been plenty of rumors and backstage speculation regarding CM Punk and WWE going all the way back to WrestleMania 42. However, specific details have been unable to be independently confirmed. Furthermore, the situation remains unchanged following reports that Punk is expected to return at Monday’s Raw, taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, with the belief he’s headed to SmackDown afterwards.

The plan for Kenny Omega vs. MJF for the AEW World Championship has been in effect for well over three months at the very least and it was also heard that the long-term plan was for AEW Redemption. Omega challenges MJF for the World Title at next Wednesday’s AEW Beach Break at BaySound in St. Pete-Clearwater, Florida. If Omega loses, he will never be able to challenge for the World Title ever again.
