WWE champion lands new movie role

Per a report from Deadline, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has landed another movie role.

Production is underway in Mississippi for the psychological thriller “Ping.”, which also stars “Obsession” actress Megan Lawless.

The report notes the movie follows “an aspiring creative director who lands a remote dream job, but is forced to choose between her sanity and a boss she can never mute.”

The executive-producers are Garrett Thompson, Mary Kay Cook, Sam E Gold, Jennifer Neal, Casey James, Jarod Einsohn, Harris Lane, Walter Josten, Patrick Josten, Mark Hamilton, Thomas Vogelheim, Craig Gordon, and Nanette Gordon.

Morgan also has a role in “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo”, which will premiere on September 14 at the Toronto International Film Festival, followed the theatrical release in Japan on October 23, 2026. A wide theatrical release date from distributor Neon in North America has not yet been provided.

Morgan successfully defeated the World Women’s Championship against former champion Stephanie Vaquer on that past Monday’s WWE Raw.
