Lance Peterson announced via social media that notable WWE fan Rick Achberger passed away on September 27.
Achberger, known to many as WWE’s “Sign Guy,” was seen in his signature blue workman shirt and red hat at as many as forty to fifty events a year for the company, most recently appearing at the 5/1 edition of SmackDown.

WWE Sign Guy got me good at a house show once. It was during my Gregory Helms run, he had a sign that read “HELMS IS GOD.” As I went to acknowledge that, he unfolded the rest of the sign so that it read “HELMS IS GOD … AWFUL.”
