Wrestleview is happy to report that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross underwent successful brain surgery on Wednesday in Norman, Oklahoma.
Conrad Thompson, who is the co-host of the Grilling JR podcast, took to social media to share the encouraging news. Thompson also noted that Ross will get to come home this Friday.
On Tuesday, Ross noted Tuesday in a social media post, that the procedure would involve a hole being drilled into his skull, along with a small tube inserted to reach into his stomach to better manage/drain out the excess brain fluid.
The 74-year old Ross has had a number serious of health issues, including colon and skin cancer. He was also tested for Dementia/Alzheimer’s. This past June, Ross spent over 30-days in the hospital after taking a fall in his home. His last appearance with AEW was the Double or Nothing PPV back on May 24 PPV, where he called the Continental Title Match between Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly.
