A new report from WrestleVotes on Fightful Select has indicated that two of WWE’s top talents are being considered for a return as soon as SummerSlam.
Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre, two names that have been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania, have recently appeared in an internal company document, with sources indicating that both will be ready to return for the two-night event.
While there is no word on how either could be factored into creative plans, their inclusion is notably viewed as a positive sign that WWE is at least discussing potential roles ahead of the premium live event emanating from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2.
