Deadline is reporting that former WWE star Ronda Rousey is set to executive produce a new MMA drama series, ‘Brawlers.’
The report notes Harold Perrineau, also known for From, The Matrix trilogy and Zero Dark Thirty will play the lead role.
Details as to the plot are being kept a secret. Filming will take place in Los Angeles, California.
Rousey came out of a nearly decade-long retirement from MMA, to fight Gina Carano. The fight aire live on Netflix, back on May 16, 2026 live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA. Rousey defeated Carano with an armbar submission 17 seconds into the first round. After the match, Rousey again declared she was retired from MMA to focus on her family.
Rousey made a surprise appearance at AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view this past March, which took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Rousey appeared following Toni Storm’s victory over Marina Shafir. Storm and Rousey ended up having a confrontation in the ring before security came in. Rousey, who received heavy boos, left with Sharfi through the crowd.
Rousey and her family plan to leave California and relocate to Hawaii.
