Per a report on Saturday from F4WOnline, a recent JP Morgan stock report is not expected to lead to any dramatic changes with WWE’s leadership in the near future.

F4WOnline notes analysts from JP Morgan recently lowered their price target for TKO from $225 to $222, specifically indicating they have become more cautious regarding WWE due to weaker fan sentiment. The report also states JP Morgan has concerns regarding WWE’s declining viewership of Raw on Netflix and lower ticket demand for SummerSlam.

“WWE fan dissatisfaction is worth watching but is not yet a structural problem. Premium live event viewing appears to be growing, although Raw ratings are trending down year over year.”

Dave Meltzer indicated in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that no shakeups are expected in the near future. However, with WWE’s Netflix and USA Network agreements coming up at the end of 2029, he was told that Mark Shapiro and others in TKO could begin putting pressure on Nick Khan and Paul Levesque if WWE’s numbers are not strong in 2028.

“Regarding this, from inside WWE, while obviously once this has gotten to JP Morgan which affects stock price it is a story. I was told even so, right now nothing is expected to happen until around 2028 at which point the Netflix deal and USA deals will be in play, with both ending at the end of 2029. If numbers aren’t strong, we’re told that’s when Mark Shapiro and company will really start pressuring Nick Khan and Levesque. And if numbers are strong, things will stay the way they are, which would include some reactions to outside things like this and numbers.”

WWE’s deal with Netflix to air Raw, which began on January 1, 2025 is a 10-year agreement valued at $5 billion, with a 5-year provision allowing the streaming service the option to pull out of the contract or extend it. WWE’s five-year domestic rights deal with the USA Network to air SmackDown, began in October 2024 and is roughly $1.4 billion.
