According to a report on Thursday from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is said to be a “split of opinion” within WWE regarding the future of The Vision.
The report notes there are some within WWE who feel The Vision could still continue, but only if it is completely re-done, which would include talent changes for the faction. While other in the company feel The Vision has run its course and it’s time to “let the pieces fall where they may.”
Furthermore, the report notes that regardless of whether the group continues, splits up or is re-done, Paul Heyman is still expected to remain paired with Bron Breakker, as the company sees to be significant to the presentation of Breakker.
During this past Monday’s Raw, a backstage segment was done where Austin Theory approached Paul Heyman, telling him he has not been returning his calls.
The Vision was formed just after WrestleMania 41 when Rollins and Heyman aligned with each other during the triple threat main event match, that Rollins regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The original group consisted of Rollins, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, all managed by Heyman. During his match against Cody Rhodes at last October’s Crown Jewel, Rollins injured his left shoulder while executing a coast-to-coast diving headbutt. Because this required surgery, WWE went in the direction of Heyman, Breakker and Reed turning on Rollins to write him off television.
The Vision currently consists of Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Reed tore his triceps during an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match back on the February 23 episode of Raw, while trying to break up a pinfall. He is still out of action. Paul tore his triceps during the May 23 Saturday Night’s Main Event World Tag Team Title Match, when he braced himself while catching Angelo Dawkins, who leaped over the top rope. That injury required surgery, where he would be out indefinitely.
