WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg (Brian G. James) claims on social media that he was turned down by AEW for a job, due to his political beliefs.

During a series of back and forth exchanges on X, James said that he was turned away from AEW due to his political/core beliefs. He also went on to say he did not donate to or vote for Trump, but that Tony’s Khan’s father did and then asks why he (James) is being punished.

James voluntarily resigned from his position with WWE this past March, where he held the role of co-lead writer for SmackDown. James cited backstage frustrations as one of several reasons for his resignation from the company.

He was also in negotiations with TNA Wrestling earlier this summer to be part of the creative team, but a deal has since stalled as has yet to be finalized.
