According to a new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is reportedly “internal frustration” within WWE regarding the lack of booking Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
Fightful Select notes that after Vaquer suffered her shoulder injury, plans for Morgan and Vaquer to continue their program were ‘disrupted’ and left without clear follow-up.
According to Fightful Select’s source on the matter, WWE intends to feature Morgan more prominently moving forward, regardless of however long Vaquer is out. It was also noted that Morgan still has yet to defend the World Women’s Championship since regaining the title at WrestleMania 42.
As it pertains to Mysterio, it is being said that WWE has made an effort to keep him visible on their programming even when though he has not been active in the ring. It was further added that his role is expected to expand as the company begins increasing promotion for upcoming AAA events. Mysterio is the current AAA Mega Champion.
