According to a new report from Wreslevotes on Fightful Select, WWE has reportedly begun making contingency plans in the event Rhea Ripley is forced to miss an extended period of time.
Ripley’s knee injury has led to significant changes behind the scene within the SmackDown women’s division. Sources indicate there are multiple creative plans involving several female talents have already been adjusted, as WWE is preparing for several scenarios depending on how long Ripley is out of action.
WWE has already replaced Ripley with Tiffany Stratton on promotional material for the upcoming Night of Champions PLE.
Ripley has made appearances on SmackDown, but has not wrestled since she successfully defended the Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy back on May 31.
